L’arrangiatore, Michel Legrand, è uno dei più grandi di tutti i tempi (3 premi Oscar, 5 Grammy e tantissime nomination).
Le canzoni sono quelle classiche della tradizione natalizia americana e Legrand è andato personalmente a New York per riarrangiarle e dirigere un’orchestra sinfonica e una big band di 50 elementi.
Gli interpreti sono semplicemente eccezionali: Jamie Cullum, Rufus Wainwright, Madeleine Peyroux, Iggy Pop, MIKA e Ayo godono su tutti di grande stima da parte mia e danno a questo progetto quel qualcosa in più che lo rende speciale.
Noël ! Noël !! Noël !!! è sì l’ennesima raccolta di quelle canzoni natalizie che sicuramente avete già sentito e risentito in tutte le salse, ma con un’eleganza e una classe così forse ancora no!
