Un giorno ho sentito alla radio Walking Through Tomorrow (Super 8, Pt. 3) e ho voluto subito scoprire The Quantic Soul Orchestra, nome che fa capo a Will Holland, musicista, DJ e produttore di base a Cali, Colombia. Stampede è il primo album di un suo progetto live con il quale Will Holland cerca di avvicinarsi il più possibile al suono grezzo del funk anni ’70 senza l’uso di campioni. Il risultato è molto buono, grazie anche alla creatività e positiva mentalità degli innumerevoli artisti che lo affiancano in questo progetto, compresa sua sorella Lucy Holland sassofonista.
